Chili is an important dish at my house. It allows for flexibility and versatility, is always delicious, better as leftovers, AND freezes well for individual heat and eat meals later.
One of the things I love about developing new recipes is taking a standard recipe that I have been making for a long time and changing it a little to making it a little healthier.
I started making my own chili powder about 15 years ago and it’s so easy with such a delicious and fragrant result, that I’ve never bought chili powder since.
