The Pink Chihuahua is currently my favorite tequila-based cocktail. The pink grapefruit and orange liqueur mellow the silver tequila nicely and it can be easily varied to suit a variety of palates. The following recipe makes one pitcher which serves 6.

Ingredients:

6 oz Silver Tequila
3 oz Orange Liqueur
4.5 c Pink Grapefruit Juice Cocktail
Ice

Optional Ingredients:

Slices of your choice of citrus, such as pink grapefruit, orange, Meyer lemon, etc. to garnish.

How I make it:

* Combine all ingredients and stir well
* Shake with ice & serve in a Martini Glass or serve over ice in a Hi

Variations:

Salty Chihuahua is served in a salt-rimmed glass
Spicy Chihuahua is served with spicy chili pepper slices as a garnish (pictured above)
