If you follow me on social media, you may have noticed that Milito’s shows up in my feed regularly because it’s so perfectly Instagramable. This isn’t just because it’s set in a renovated 19th century historic paper mill and has some great authentic industrial accents as part of the decor that give it a cool and relaxed charm, or because it has a spacious patio dining area overlooking the Brandywine River, making it an ideal setting to get great natural light pics of some delectable “food porn”, or to watch the sun set, surrounded by other Downingtown historic landmarks; it’s largely because the menu is full of things that I love to eat and drink (and photograph)! Those of you who know me personally know that Milito’s is in my home town and is not only one of my favorite spots to eat out with my family, but also my absolute favorite place in the Borough of Downingtown to enjoy Specialty Cocktails with at least a few small plates (more if we’re sharing)!
As you can imagine, I’m thrilled to be able to work with Milito’s during the coming week in taking over their Instagram feed so that I can share more about this fantastic foodie destination in the Philadelphia Suburbs!
